Storing your farm machinery

Having made an investment in some quality farm machinery such as the fantastic deals available through BFM-inc, you need to know your precious mechanical aides are safe and secure when you go to sleep at night. For that reason, we always recommend your machinery is kept well maintained and is stored in a covered building overnight. Although all vehicles and plant sold through us will fare well caught in a shower of rain, or even a torrential downpour should you get caught out by summer rain whilst ploughing your fields, we always feel that owners who give a little more towards their machinery get a lot more. It's almost as if the vehicle appreciates the love and care and repays you the favour by lasting longer and having less likelihood of having problems(not that many do anyway).
We heartily recommend using a storage shed, perhaps a covered over hay bay or disused barn to house your new machinery once delivery has been completed. It is worth paying a small fee for a consultation and structural evaluation of existing buildings prior to parking your new vehicle inside said buildings however, and if there are any roofing problems, leaks or draughts, getting an experienced roofer to patch up any holes is highly advisable. Alternatively, we would suggest a purpose built shed to store your hay baler, tractor or spare buckets, but of course, that would delay the delivery of your new machinery until building work would be finished, so using existing buildings is always preferential.
